GRADUATE TESTIMONY:
My name is Dillion Martinez. I’m 27 years old and I’m from Carlsbad, New Mexico. Before coming to the Rise Discipleship Home, I was struggling with a serious life challenge. I had been working at Little Caesars for about eight months and had a place, but eventually I found myself with nowhere to go. I had burned all my bridges with both my family and my friends.
One day, while walking down the street, I broke down and cried out to God. I asked Him to take me somewhere, anywhere, and He led me to my cousin’s house. She let me stay the night, and the very next day she showed me a flyer for the Rise Discipleship Home. I called the intake number, and by God’s grace, I was accepted.
The guys picked me up while they were out fundraising, and once I arrived at the home, everything began to change. I had a powerful encounter with Jesus, and He broke the chains of struggling in my life. Today, I feel like a completely different person. I’ve been clean for 13 months now.
God is keeping me grounded, and my faith in Him is stronger than ever. I thank Him for all He’s doing in my life, and I’m deeply grateful to the Rise Home for taking me in and giving me a second chance.
NIGHT OUT WITH JESUS:
Students from the Rise Discipleship Home recently had the incredible opportunity to join Rise Church members for a powerful outreach in our community. Together, they stepped out in faith, praying for people, handing out food, and even blessing others by covering gas at the pump.
It was a day filled with compassion, connection, and the tangible love of Jesus. Many lives were touched, and hearts were opened. We’re truly grateful for the chance to serve and pour into our local community, and we’re excited to continue making a difference not just here, but in other cities as well.
